There is nothing on this earth like family. Family is always there for you. Family supports you. Family cares about you. I just love being with family.
While we were in San Francisco, we had the opportunity to meet my mom's cousin in Sausalito. They grew up together, but hadn't seen each other in almost 40 years. You'd think 40 years would change how they "knew" each other, but as soon as they saw each other, it was as if they had been together every day of their entire lives. I love that.
My Grandma Cherry was super excited to see her too. This was her niece whom she hadn't seen in YEARS. There were many hugs & tears that day. It was SO nice being together, even for just a short while. Thank you Donna for driving four hours to see us.
