Sightseeing on a Bus Tour

After visiting Ghirardelli Square, & once the guys met back up with us. . . we walked down to Fisherman's Wharf & hopped on a tour bus. Trek & I LOVE those hop-on-hop-off buses. It's an easy way to get around the city without having to continually drive & park everywhere. The kids LOVED riding on the top of the double decker bus. It was a TON of fun.

San Francisco is just a cool city. I love going there once a month & it was a lot of fun sharing it with my family. The tour bus took us around all the major places to visit. We didn't get off anywhere, we just rode the bus all the way around for an hour & a half. It was WONDERFUL.

Union Square is one of my favorite places in San Fran. Tylee lives just a few blocks up so we go there a LOT. It's a shopper's dream!

And of course you have the TransAmerica Pyramid, which happens to be the tallest building in San Francisco.

There are also several beautiful churches & cathedrals in San Francisco. This is the one that Marilyn Monroe & Joe DeMaggio got their wedding photos taken at.

We took TONS of pictures, but I won't bore you with all of them. We also visited a lot of the places up close & personal so I'll include photos on those posts.

After we rode the bus back to Fisherman's Wharf, the men got off & ran 1.7 miles to get our cars. Poor guys. Never DRIVE to San Fran, you'll never find a parking place, let alone 2. The rest of us rode the bus back to Union Square where we got off & walked to the HUGE mall there. (12 stories of shopping goodness). Tylee met up with us after work & eventually the men met us there too. We had dinner at the eatery & then walked back to Tylee's apartment.

We always have so much fun at Tylee's. I still can't believe we crammed six adults & five kids in that studio apartment. Poor Tylee & Bladen slept in her closet. The rest of us were sardined in the main room. It sounds awful, but it was SO MUCH FUN.
